Position: Finance and Administration Officer
Location: Hargeisa, Somaliland
Contract Type: Full-time
Reports to: Business Development Office and Project Management Office
1. Objective
KCG is seeking a highly motivated and multi-skilled Finance & Admin Officer to lead the setup and management of a newly established branch. This individual will be responsible for overseeing financial management, administrative support, human resources coordination, and daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with organizational standards. The role requires leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic and growing organization.

3. Key Responsibilities
The Finance and Administration Officer will be responsible for:
A. Financial Management & Administrative Support
· Maintain accurate financial records for all branch-related expenditures.
· Manage petty cash, ensuring documentation, reconciliation, and timely replenishment.
· Process payments to staff, vendors, and service providers without delays.
· Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to the central finance office.
· Support budget preparation, expenditure tracking, and financial forecasting.
· Ensure compliance with financial policies and assist during audits.
· Oversee daily admin operations and office support needs.
· Maintain records for leases, utilities, and vendor contracts.
· Ensure proper documentation of admin and procurement files.
· Support logistics and keep well-organized filing systems
B. HR and operational support
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and HR file management.
• Track staff attendance, leave, and support employee welfare.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws.
• Support branch logistics, procurement, and operational planning.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and field transport.
• Identify and resolve operational gaps for improved efficiency.
Skills and qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· 2 to 3 years of experience in financial and administrative management, preferably in non- profit, consulting, or project-based organizations.
· Experience in budget management, procurement, and financial reporting.
· Proficient in MS Office and accounting software ( QuickBooks, Sage, ERP systems).
· Strong integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
· Excellent analytical, multitasking, and communication skills (English and Somali)
